October 27, 2017 at 15:00 in the  regional Kazakh Drama Theater the youth forum of the WKR was held to support the transition to the Latin alphabet under the motto “The transition to the Latin alphabet – the way to the future” initiated by the regional department for the development of languages.

The deputy of the head of the region Ospankulov G., the well-known political scientist and professional mediator, the scientist Koshim Dosmakhanbet Kalmakhanovich, the literary critic, the children’s writer, Master of Humanities Toktarbai Eldos Nusipovich and Candidate of History Zhaksygaliev Zhanabek Zhanabayuly, the correspondent of the newspaper “Priuralie”, the blogger Samoylova Galina Olegovna participated in the forum.

The youth of WKR during the forum, noting the importance of the new version of the Latin script, approved by the Head of State, accepted the appeal with a call for support.

Students of the West Kazakhstan Innovation and Technological University took an active part in organizing the forum.
