November 2, 2017 at the Department of Philology was an open meeting of the scientific and practical group “Young librarian”, organized by the instructor of the department Kakimova D.M. and students of the specialty “Librarianship”, on the topic: “The history of the book. Publishing”.

The meeting was attended by dean of Pedagogical faculty Dzhumakaeva B.S., head of the department of Philology Azhgaliyev M.K., head of the library Dlenova I.S. and instructors of the department, as well as full-time and correspondence students of the specialty “Librarianship”.

During the meeting, the history of the book was presented (the first model of the book was presented), the history of publishing (today’s publishing position), ancient books, interesting and special books for reading, monuments for foreign and Kazakhstan books, and careful attitude to the book. The purpose of this meeting is to attract young people to reading books.
