From November 24-25, 2022, in Cheboksary, at the I.N. Ulyanov Chuvash State University, the VI International Scientific and Technical Conference “Problems and prospects for the development of energy, Electrical Engineering and energy efficiency” was held.
The University was founded in 1967, is one of the innovation centers, the leading scientific, educational and cultural center of the Chuvash Republic, the university has a high rating indicator. Students from 47 countries are studying.
The conference was attended by Associate Professor of the Department of “Power Engineering, Automation and Computer Engineering” of the West Kazakhstan University of Innovation and Technology Sadykova Lyazat Anatolyevna. On November 24, her reports “Problems of the West Kazakhstan Electric Grid Company” and “Development of hydro-wind energy in Kazakhstan” were presented and demonstrated in the form of presentations in the sections “Devices and complexes of control, accumulation and distribution of electric energy” and in the section “Promising technologies and equipment of traditional and non-traditional energy”.
The conference was attended by scientists from the cities of Kazan, Ufa, Moscow, Novosibirsk, Saratov, Samara, Uralsk.
The work was carried out in 6 sections. The conference participants were introduced to the laboratories of the university: the laboratory of “Digital substation”, “Relay protection and automation”, “Heat Engineering”, “Non-traditional energy sources”, a tour of the factories of Cheboksary was organized.
On November 25, a meeting was held with the Dean of the Faculty of “Power Engineering and Electrical Engineering”, Head of the Department of “EE and AP”, Professor Vladimir G. Kovalev (former Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation), Dean of the Faculty of “Radio Electronics and Automation” – Professor Grigory P. Okhotkin, Associate Professor of the Department of “Thermal Power Plants” – Vsevolod V. Andreev, Associate Professor of the Department of “Radio Engineering and Radio Engineering Systems”- Sergey Gennadievich Chumarov, Ekaterina Evgenievna Kalinina, Head of the Department of International Programs and Academic Mobility, Alexey Germanovich Kalinin, Professor of the Department of “EE and AP”.
As a result of the negotiations, the issues of signing a cooperation agreement with our university, signing a roadmap for joint activities, a network training program, holding a guest lecture by Professor Kalinin A.G. for teachers and students of technical specialties, on the development and research of joint projects, on the publication of joint articles in international journals were resolved.
The Chuvash University presented catalogs of power equipment and systems produced by the university together with local factories “Protection and automation relays”, “Control relays”, a methodological manual on “Energy-saving mode management”.
