On September 22, 2025, under the guidance of Associate Professor of the Department of Veterinary Medicine and Technosphere Safety of the Institute of Industry Technologies at WKITU, Candidate of Veterinary Sciences A.K. Dnekeshev, a field practice-oriented training session was organized at SPC “Shamshyraq” for students of group VET-32O as part of the discipline “Veterinary Surgery.”

The session was conducted by the chief veterinary doctor of the enterprise, Ghani Aidar Asqaruly, and Associate Professor of the Department of Veterinary Medicine and Technosphere Safety, Candidate of Veterinary Sciences Amanzhol Kusaynovich Dnekeshev. During the training, students studied the entire technological process at the animal slaughter unit and were introduced to the topographic anatomy of lymph nodes and other anatomical structures directly on carcasses of various animal species. The enterprise’s veterinary specialist visually demonstrated the boundaries of topographic regions and rational incision techniques used in surgical procedures.

The second part of the session took place in a specialized classroom equipped with anatomical models, stands, and training dummies. Here, students practiced determining organ topography, marking surgical approaches, and performing basic suture techniques on training models, which helped strengthen their practical competencies.

Such field-based practice-oriented sessions held at the department’s branch sites play a significant role in forming professional competencies of future specialists within the “Veterinary Medicine” educational program. They strengthen the connection between theory and practice and enable students to successfully adapt to their future professional activities.

In conclusion, conducting the educational process in small groups at the department’s branch sites contributes to deeper comprehension and understanding of the material. This format encourages discussion, allows students to express their ideas freely, share experiences, and ask clarifying questions. As a result, the quality of theoretical knowledge acquisition improves, and practical skills are significantly enhanced — an essential stage in the professional training of future veterinary specialists.

The department staff sincerely expresses gratitude to the Director of SPC “Shamshyraq,” Askar Maratovich Mendygaliyev, and all veterinary specialists for their support in organizing and conducting this event.
