On the 23d of September 2022 in Uralsk hosted the International Investment Forum “WestKazInvest-2022” with the participation of representatives of the border regions of the Russian Federation, agricultural producers, heads of peasant farms in the region, agricultural scientists, and potential foreign investors.
Within the framework of the Forum, an exhibition of commodity producers of our region and border regions of the Russian Federation was organized for participants and guests. Panel sections also worked on attracting investments in the agro-industrial complex, the oil and gas sector, and IT technologies.
Active participation in the work of the International Investment Forum “WestKazInvest-2022” was taken by scientists, students and undergraduates of the Department of Veterinary Medicine and Technosphere Safety of Engineering and Humanitarian Faculty at WKITU. They presented promotional materials about the educational programs of the Faculty of Engineering and Humanities, as well as booklets with information about the scientific research conducted by the scientists of the department in the field of veterinary medicine and agriculture, about conducting refresher courses for farmers in the region in the field of reproduction of farm animals. The participation of teaching staff and students in the Forum made it possible to get acquainted with the investment projects of the region, as well as exchange experience and strengthen cooperation with external stakeholders.
