On the 11 of March 2022, a regional meeting with agricultural producers, heads of peasant farms of the region, scientists and farmers was held in Uralsk with the participation of Akim of the region G. N. Eskaliyev and First Deputy Mayor A. K. Utegulov.

The meeting discussed the state of the agro-industrial complex of the West Kazakhstan region and prospects for its further development. An exhibition “directions of development of the agro-industrial complex of the West Kazakhstan region” was organized for the participants and guests of the meeting.

Scientists of Ecology and biotechnology Department of of Engineering and Humanitarian Faculty of WKITU took an active part in the work of the Regional Council. They presented a stand with detailed information about scientific research conducted by scientists of the department in the field of Veterinary Medicine and Agriculture, about conducting advanced training courses in the field of reproduction of farm animals for farmers of the region. Also, the participants of the meeting were presented with an advertising material with information about the educational programs of Engineering and Humanitarian Faculty, and detailed answers to many questions about the conditions for admission to WKITU were given.
