On November 21, 2024, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Oil and Gas Engineering, G.E. Kalesheva, conducted an open class on the subject “Offshore Field Development” with the participation of students from group ND-42O. The aim of the class was to develop and present a case study, providing an excellent opportunity for students to demonstrate their knowledge and skills in solving practical problems in the field of offshore resource development. The session was held in the format of active discussion, analysis, and creative work, allowing participants to immerse themselves in real conditions of the oil and gas industry and develop their abilities for a comprehensive approach and critical thinking. Group work encouraged students to interact and exchange ideas, strengthening their teamwork skills and confidence in their professional knowledge. Through such classes, students gain valuable experience that will help them successfully adapt to the demands of the modern oil and gas industry and become sought-after specialists in their field.
