On the eve of International Women’s Day on March 8, Akim of Uralsk Mirzhan Satkanov in a solemn ceremony congratulated the representatives of the fair sex who have made a great contribution to the development of medicine, education, social sphere, culture and sports. The meeting of the city akim with the women’s community of the region is an opportunity to once again celebrate the merits of the fair half of humanity. The informal meeting over a cup of tea was attended by women of different ages and professions, but they were all united by a love for their native land and their work. Congratulating women on the upcoming International Women’s Day, the city akim emphasized the role of all women in the development of the state’s economy, be they mothers of many children, doctors, teachers, businesswomen or representatives of other fields and professions.

The meeting was attended by the head of the Department of Veterinary Medicine and Technosphere Safety of the Institute of Industry Technologies of the West Kazakhstan Innovation and Technology University, Candidate of Chemical Sciences Laura Ilyasovna Baytlesova.

The akimat prepared a festive concert program for the fair sex, which featured Kazakh and foreign hits dedicated to women, spring and love.

 Having wished good health and prosperity, the city akim presented greeting cards, flowers, memorable souvenirs, and also expressed sincere gratitude and gratitude to the lovely ladies “simply for existing and making our lives more beautiful.”
