On the 8th of December 2022, the Department of General Educational Disciplines organized and

held the Olympiad on History of Kazakhstan among 1st year students of Engineering and Humanitarian Faculty at WKITU, dedicated to the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The program of the Olympiad included the following stages: presentation of teams-presentation, homework, free topic, polyglot, black box, blitz, competition of captains.

The 1st place in Kazakh team was taken by the team “Tauelsizder” group UR-11; 2nd place was taken by the team “Alash” gr. Arch-13; 3rd place was taken by the team “Dostyk” gr. Arch-13.

The 1st place in Russian team was taken by the combined team “Autonomy” gr. ND-12, UR-12, VTIS-12, TMO-12; 2nd place was taken by the team “Sportans” gr. Arch-12; 3rd place was taken by the team “Children of the History” gr. Arch-14.
