Silver University is an international movement that creates favorable conditions for the successful adaptation of older people to modern life, self-education and self-improvement and is one of the areas of implementation of continuous education. Several courses in this area have been opened and functioning at the Institute of Education and Management of the West Kazakhstan Innovative and Technological University since the 2023-2024 academic year. The number of learners who applied for the Silver University courses has increased significantly compared to the previous academic year. Thus, 17 learners applied for the course “English for Travel”, 13 learners for the course “Neurobics – Gymnastics for the Brain”. Classes are held twice a week. Learners who successfully complete the course are issued a certificate.
