On April 25, 2024, meetings of the Academic Committees for the development of the OP of the Department of ViTB IOT ZKITU were held: 6B11201-Life safety and environmental protection, 6B09103-Veterinary medicine, 7M09101-Veterinary medicine, 6B07501-Standardization and certification. Academic Committees (AC) were established with the aim of high-quality development of bachelor’s and master’s degree educational programs, ensuring continuous updating of their content.

The meetings were attended by leading scientists and teachers of the department, students, undergraduates, as well as external stakeholders – employers, representatives of such organizations as: National Standard Certification Center LLP, ZKF JSC National Center for Expertise and Certification, AVENCOM LLP, ZKF RSE Republican Veterinary Laboratory of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Zap.-Kaz. KazNIVI LLP branch of the scientific Research Veterinary station, Kenes LLP, Department of Ecology for the West Kazakhstan region, West Kazakhstan regional branch of Ak Beren LLP of the Republican Central Headquarters of Professional Paramilitary Emergency Services.

The members of the Academy took an active part in discussing the problems and prospects of training specialists of the OP department, the passport and the content of educational programs, the formation of a list of elective disciplines of the Master’s and bachelor’s degrees for the 2024-2025 academic year. The names of academic disciplines and learning outcomes were agreed upon.

The result of the AC’s work was the decision to introduce new disciplines into the CEDs, which are of great importance in the formation of the necessary competencies that are most in demand in the modern education system.
