To date, competition has forced employers to increase the requirements for actual learning outcomes at all levels of education and declare the need for graduates to develop new qualities, such as the ability to work in a team, the ability to study independently, and readiness for a quick change in the field of professional activity.
Employers are increasingly interacting with educational institutions by participating both in the formation of an order for the training of specialists of the profile and qualifications they need, and in assessing the quality of the content and training of graduates.
Today, on October 20, 2022, within the framework of the discipline “Veterinary and sanitary examination”, a meeting of 5th-year students of the OP “Veterinary Medicine” was held with a representative of the branch of the West Kazakhstan region of the RSE at the Republican Veterinary Laboratory of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, with which the department has been cooperating for many years.
Togzhanova Didara Bolatovna is a veterinarian of the sampling department, is a graduate of our University of the Department of Veterinary Medicine and Technosphere Safety. The guest told the students about the main activity of the enterprise, which is aimed at protecting the population from diseases common to animals and humans by conducting regular diagnostic studies and thus ensuring the epizootic well-being of the region for especially dangerous animal diseases.
During the meeting, the activities of the enterprise were also noted:
– conducting laboratory tests and veterinary and sanitary examination;
– verification of measuring instruments and certification of test equipment;
– bacteriological studies of disinfection quality;
– disposal and destruction of biological waste.
In addition, the representative of the company also spoke about the responsibilities and opportunities of working in a veterinary laboratory. The students expressed a desire to be interviewed and to become part of the company’s team in the future.
