A representative of the Orenburg Institute (branch) of the University named after O.E. Kutafin (MSLU) – head of the distance learning department, Veronika Vyacheslavovna Chemerinskaya, visited the West Kazakhstan Innovation and Technology University. On behalf of WKITU, the meeting was attended by the Acting Rector, Vice-Rector for Science and International Relations Izimgali Nurymovich Zhubantayev and the First Vice-Rector, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Samal Amangeldievna Mashanova.

During the meeting, the representatives of the two universities presented their universities and discussed the opportunities of mutual cooperation. In particular, Veronika Vyacheslavovna Chemerinskaya focused on the main areas of the university’s international activities: regional cooperation, the institute’s priorities of establishing partnership networks, and also proposed to involve students and teaching staff in various conferences and symposia held on the basis of both educational institutions.

The First Vice-Rector, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Samal Amangeldievna Mashanova offered the possibilities of implementing joint educational programs, academic exchanges for students and faculty, and having guest lectures by leading scholars from partner universities in the educational programs: Jurisprudence and Law.

We are interested in further expansion of cooperation and fruitful interaction in all areas of mutual interest, especially the participation of our scientists in international research projects, noted the Acting Rector, Vice-Rector for Science and International Relations I.N. Zhubantaev.

At the initiative of the Orenburg Institute, a Cooperation Agreement on jointly developing the Roadmap (Creative Cooperation Plan) by structural divisions of the universities was signed between the universities and,  it is planned to have the next meeting together with colleagues from the faculties of the two universities. At the end of the meeting, I.N. Zhubantayev noted that such meetings are of great importance in establishing effective bilateral cooperation and thanked Veronika Vyacheslavovna Chemerinskaya for her visit.
