On March 11, 2026, the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology hosted an interactive exhibition “Profession: Psychologist,” organized by senior lecturers Kadyzhanova Zh.E., Zhumagulova G.A., Lukpanova V.V., and Sultanov A.B. The purpose of the exhibition was to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the professional activities of psychologists in the context of modern scientific approaches, theories, and practices, as well as to increase students’ interest in the profession.

The exhibition program included the creation of an interactive platform showcasing various fields of psychology, such as medical and practical psychology, pedagogical and special psychology, military, legal, and penitentiary psychology, and psychology of extreme situations. Students had the opportunity to learn about the features of a psychologist’s professional work in different institutions and organizations. The event provided information on the specifics of psychologists’ work in educational institutions, medical organizations, law enforcement agencies, psychological support centers, and private practice.

Participants learned about the tasks of psychologists, the methods of diagnostics and counseling used, as well as the professional and personal qualities required of specialists. Practical examples from the experience of invited psychologists were of particular interest, allowing students to better understand the real aspects of the profession and its social significance.

In addition, master classes were held for students by the invited specialists, demonstrating techniques for the joint work of psychologists and defectologists in inclusive education, the application of focus-group methods in the work of a pedagogical psychologist, and approaches to achieving inner harmony and psychological health. The interactive format fostered a trusting atmosphere and actively engaged students in the process.

The exhibition was conducted in an informative and productive environment. Students noted the practical value of the event, the opportunity to expand their professional knowledge, and the motivation it provided for further professional development.

On behalf of the university, we express our gratitude to the participants of the exhibition for their collaboration, professionalism, and contribution to the development of practice-oriented student learning, and we look forward to continued cooperation in the future.
