On December 13, within the framework of the School of Pedagogical Excellence, a master class was held by the teacher of the Department of «Architecture and Construction» A.T. Taskaliev on the discipline «Concrete technology» for students of OP: 6B07302 «Construction» on the topic «Determination of compressive strength of concrete products».

The purpose of the master class is to determine the compressive strength of concrete products using a small-sized hydraulic press PGM-50MG4.

Tasks of the master class:

– study of the value of compressive strength of concrete products – one of the important characteristics taken into account in the design of reinforced concrete buildings and structures;

 – familiarization with the strength characteristics of the properties of concrete products of the «M» brand and the «B» class of concrete;

– familiarization with methods for determining the strength of concrete, with destructive and non-destructive groups, which are performed by direct and indirect methods;

– determination of the cubic strength of concrete using a PGM-50MG4 press.
