On April 9, in accordance with the work plan of the Department of Law of the Institute of industry technologies, within the framework of the memorandum of Cooperation concluded between WKITU and the PD of the West Kazakhstan region for students under the educational program of jurisprudence, a guest lecture was held with the participation of the head of the local police service of the Abai criminal code of Uralsk, Police Lieutenant Colonel K. K. Sisengaliyev, senior district police inspector of the UPP No. 6 of this unit, Police Major D. G. Unaigaliyev.

In their speeches, police officers told students in detail about the state of offenses, including among minors in the territory served, with specific examples and measures taken to prevent them. He noted the importance of practical application of amendments and additions to the administrative offenses and criminal legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in terms of strengthening responsibility for offenses related to women, minors and family and domestic offenses.

At the end of the meeting, the guests called on future lawyers to actively support the requirements of the president of the Republic of Kazakhstan K. K. Tokayev on “Law and order”, to be an irreconcilable fighter against all offenses and, answering all the questions of students, wished them good results in their studies.

The moderator of the event was associate professor of the Department, Ph. D. T. H. Rakhmetov, who thanked all the teaching staff and students of the Department for the informative lecture and wished them success in their activities.
