On April 7, 2025, Sayat Alimov, a student of group ND-32 from the Department of Oil and Gas Engineering (academic advisor — senior lecturer G.E. Kalesheva), took part in the Republican Subject Olympiad in the field of “Development and Operation of Oil and Gas Fields”. The Olympiad was held online and organized by Atyrau University of Oil and Gas named after Safi Utebayev.

The event brought together talented students from specialized programs across Kazakhstan. In a highly competitive environment, Sayat Alimov represented his university with distinction, demonstrating strong academic knowledge, professional training, and confidence in solving complex engineering problems.

As a result of the Olympiad, Sayat was awarded 3rd place, confirming the high level of preparation of students from the Department of Oil and Gas Engineering.
