On May 3 lecturers of the Department of History and Law Kusdavletov Kh.M. and Zhailibayeva Zh.M. held an open study on the topic: “Interesting in Law.” As part of this event, students of the 2-nd and 3-rd courses of the educational program “Law Enforcement” revealed the features of the legal system of different countries of the world, as well as non-standard sanctions in the regulation of criminal relations, in particular, when juveniles are prosecuted. Many participants described interesting norms created within the framework of the religious, geographical and economic characteristics of a particular state. Students of the West Kazakhstan University named after M. Utemisov were also present as spectators, who also took part in choosing the best report.

From the presented reports, accompanied by slides, the best one was chosen by secret ballot, this was the material prepared by 2-nd year students Danilova Milana and Dzhubaniyazova Mehruza on the topic: “Criminal liability of minors”. All participants of the event were awarded certificates, and the winners were awarded a diploma and a statuette of the goddess of justice Themis.
