On 9 September 2026, the Atameken Palace of Arts in Uralsk hosted the presentation of the monograph The Sacred and Long-Suffering Bukey Horde by T. Z. Rysbekov, Founder of the University, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor, and Honorary Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Published by the Foliant Publishing House, this extensive scholarly work is devoted to an in-depth and comprehensive study of the history of the region.

Guided by the ancient principle, “The first law of history is to fear any falsehood and not to fear any truth,” the scholar conducted a thorough examination of every stage in the history of the Bukey Horde, from its establishment in 1801 to the present day.

The monograph provides an in-depth analysis of the emergence of the Bukey Horde and its appearance on the historical stage, the region’s political, economic, and social conditions, reforms and transformations, national liberation movements, the period under Russian rule, life in the region during the Civil War and the Second World War, the tragic consequences of the testing ground, as well as its development during Kazakhstan’s independence.

Consisting of four chapters, this fundamental work is of great importance in introducing the younger generation to the history of their native land.
