It was emphasized that parents should not make the choice instead of their children. Their main role is to support students, help them identify their interests and abilities, provide relevant information and encourage them to make an independent and informed decision.

The meeting also covered opportunities for higher education, the choice of academic programmes and majors, as well as the key factors that graduates should consider when planning their future educational and professional careers.Parents had an opportunity to ask questions and receive recommendations regarding career guidance, choosing a profession and further education.

Such career guidance meetings contribute to strengthening cooperation between schools and higher education institutions and help students approach the choice of their future profession more consciously and responsibly.
