On November 22, at the Department of “Power Engineering, Automation and Computer Engineering”, a meeting was held with the head of the instrumentation department of JSC “Zhaikteploenergo” Gerasimov Viktor Alekseevich. Students of OP 6B07105-Automation and control (by industry), 6B07102-Electric Power Engineering and teachers of the department were invited to the meeting.

The story about the activities of the Joint-Stock Company, specifically about the work of the city thermal power plant turned out to be interesting. Many people first heard about the steam boiler, whose height reaches 23 meters, it is a 9-storey building! The company operates a Japanese automated turbine, the installation of which was carried out by the Japanese. Water for heating is used from the Ural River, the level of which has recently dropped significantly.

The students asked their questions. The invited guest invited the students to the tour, which will take place next week.
