On February 25, 2022, the Atameken Center for Youth Tourism and Ecology hosted a city meeting of the Menin Otanym-Kazakhstan tourist expedition teams. This event is organized with the aim of educating children and youth a sense of citizenship and patriotism, promoting a healthy lifestyle by activating the tourist activities of the expeditionary detachments. Associate Professor of the Department of History and Law of the Pedagogical Faculty of the West Kazakhstan University of Innovation and Technology, PhD Murat Dabylovich Kalmenov and senior lecturer of the Department, Master Alfiya Sansyzbaevna Sisekeshova were invited to the meeting of the tourist expedition teams “Menin Otanym – Kazakhstan” to participate in the nomination “Immortal Stars”. In this nomination, the prepared research projects of schoolchildren were reviewed and evaluated, about the life and work of great thinkers, philosophers, prominent public figures, about volunteer work to search for, collect documents and exhibits about the exploits of heroes during the Great Patriotic War against the attack of foreign invaders, about the care shown for veterans of war, home front and labor.

At the end of the meeting, the director of the Center for Youth Tourism and Ecology “Atameken” Kurumbayev A. Sh. presented letters of thanks to Professor of the Department of History and Law Kalmenov M. D. and senior lecturer, Master Sisekeshova A. S.
