On December 14, 2023, within the framework of the Memorandum of Cooperation between the DP for the West Kazakhstan Region and the WKITU, according to the work plan of the Department of Law, students in the educational programs 6B04202 Jurisprudence, 6B04207 Judicial and prosecutorial activities, 6B04203 Legal regulation of movement, transportation and operation of transport by employees of the operational forensic department demonstrated the work of a mobile forensic laboratory.

 The chief criminologist of the OKU DP in the West Kazakhstan region, police Lieutenant Colonel Malaev Aslan Mendybaevich, demonstrated to the students the work of a mobile forensic laboratory, which is equipped on the basis of a Volkswagen-Crafter car.

It was clearly demonstrated that modern high-tech forensic equipment is available in a mobile laboratory, namely devices for removing traces of hands, shoes, traces of motor vehicles, biological odorological objects, the use of light filters to identify invisible traces. the operation of a metal detector and the removal of finger marks from the surface of the table are demonstrated. The technology of ZD scanning of the scene inspection has been demonstrated. The students got acquainted with the internal equipment and location of the mobile forensic laboratory, which is equipped with generators. additional lighting, a tent, equipment and special tools for the work of criminologists at any time of the day on the territory of the city and the region.

During this time, the MCL has proved to be a reliable, in-demand tool in helping to solve serious crimes. This mobile laboratory goes out for all serious crimes such as murders, robberies. traffic crimes with serious consequences in the territory of our region.

 The stakeholder told examples of successful disclosure of non-obvious serious crimes with the help of a mobile forensic laboratory and gave answers to students’ questions.
