External academic mobility of faculty members constitutes a significant instrument for the internationalization of higher education. It contributes to enhancing the quality of specialist training, expanding academic cooperation, and fostering the development of competitive human capital in the context of the globalization of the educational space.
In the second semester of the 2025–2026 academic year, the Institute of Education and Management of the West Kazakhstan Innovative and Technological University organized an external academic mobility program involving faculty members from the Tajik State University of Commerce. This initiative was implemented with the aim of advancing international cooperation and strengthening the strategic partnership between the West Kazakhstan Innovative and Technological University and the Tajik State University of Commerce.
Within the framework of this program, faculty members from the Tajik State University of Commerce delivered courses in the disciplines “Economic Theory” and “Fundamentals of Financial Literacy.”
Abdukarim Rakhimovich Kurbonov, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor, First Vice-Rector and Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, conducted classes in “Economic Theory” for first-year students enrolled in the following educational programs: 6B04102 – Economics, 6B04104 – State and Local Administration, 6B04106 – Finance, and 6B04105 – Accounting and Audit.
Nazarali Safarovich Salimov, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Digital Technologies in Economics, taught the course “Fundamentals of Financial Literacy” to second-year students of the following educational programs: 6B04105 – Accounting and Audit, 6B01601 – History, 6B01702 – Foreign Language: Two Foreign Languages, 6B01701 – Kazakh Language and Literature, 6B01401 – Physical Education and Sport, 6B03201 – Library Science, 6B01201 – Preschool Education and Upbringing, 6B01501 – Informatics, and 6B03101 – Psychology.
Faculty members from the Tajik State University of Commerce actively participated in the scientific and academic life of the Institute of Education and Management. In particular, scientific seminars and roundtable discussions were organized, facilitating the exchange of scholarly ideas, the discussion of pressing issues in economic science, and the expansion of areas for joint research.
Furthermore, the invited faculty members held working meetings with the academic staff of the university, during which issues related to the improvement of educational programs, the implementation of innovative teaching methods, and the prospects for further development of bilateral cooperation in the academic and scientific spheres were discussed.
