On November 14, 2024, the head of the Finance and Economics Department, associate professor Kurmanova G.K. and Master of Economics, senior lecturer Togasheva D.S. organized an excursion to the West Kazakhstan Regional Museum of History and Local History for students of  EPs “Finance”, “Accounting and Audit”, “Economics”, “Governmental and Local Management”, “Management”. The event was organized as part of the celebration of the National Currency Day with the assistance of the head of the excursion department Srymova Zhanargul Ablaevna.

The students got acquainted with the unique history of the monetary circulation of our country, as well as the history of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The educational presentation on the topic “Symbol of Independence is National currency” was presented by the tour guide Sabirova Akmaral. The students showed interest and asked questions about the history of the tenge. The tour was accompanied by experienced guides. During the event, the guides introduced the students to interesting historical information. The museum, which represents historical heritage, attracted the attention of the students with its unique exhibits. The excursionists studied the exhibits with interest: authentic artifacts and photographs. The guides’ stories became an important element in understanding the historical context and the importance of preserving national memory.
