Yemelyan Pugachev is a Don Cossack who led the Peasant War of 1773-1775. He was named Peter the 3d himself, became the most famous among the impostors posing as the emperor. As part of the educational work, on 10th of November 2022, a senior teacher of the Department of General Education Disciplines T.R. Isagulova, organized a visit to the E.Pugachev Museum with first-year students in the educational program 6B07301 “Architecture”, 6B04202 “Jurisprudence”, 6B11201 “Life safety and environmental protection”. During the tour, the children were told about the history of the museum itself. The Yemelyan Pugachev Museum in Uralsk was founded in 1991 as a branch of West Kazakhstan Regional Museum of Local History. In different years, Russian and Kazakh cultural figures have visited memorable historical places. Until 1967, there was a library in the building where the museum is located today. There is a memorial plaque on the house with information about Emelyan Pugachev’s stay here in 1774. The students were particularly interested in the fact that the building of the museum – the kuren – which is an architectural monument of republican significance.
