On November 9, 2022, students of the EP “Economics”, “State and Local Administration”, “Management”, “Finance”, “Tourism”, “Accounting and Audit” visited JSC «Ural Plant «Zenit» with an excursion to conduct a practice-oriented lesson.

The students visited the museum, where they got acquainted with the history of the plant. The first products were produced during the Great Patriotic War, namely on October 8, 1941, it was a special naval armament.

Currently, JSC Ural Plant Zenit is part of the national company Kazakhstan Engineering, which is under the trust management of the Ministry of Defense and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The development of the serial production of boats and ships by the plant was the beginning of the emergence of a new industry in the Republic of Kazakhstan – military shipbuilding. The plant has been engaged in the production of boats and ships with a displacement of up to 240 tons since 1993. Along with the manufacture of boats and ships, the plant is engaged in their maintenance, repair and modernization.

The main part of the plant’s output is shipbuilding products: boats of project 100 “Sunkar” (Sunkar), project 0200 “Burkit” (Berkut), project FC-19, project 0210 “Aybar” and ships of project 0300 “Bars”, project 250 “Bars-MO”.
