On April 16, 2026, as part of Science Week 2026, the Department of Foreign Languages ​​and Translation Studies at West Kazakhstan Innovative and Technological University hosted a scientific and practical discussion platform entitled “Language Teaching in the Digital Age: Advanced Technologies, Multimedia, and Artificial Intelligence.”

Opening remarks were given by Kussainova Dina Zhaksygalievna, Head of the Department of Foreign Languages ​​and Translation Studies, Candidate of Pedagogy, associate professor, and Ekaterina Vasilyevna Tikhonyuk, Doctor of Philosophy, associate professor of the Department.

Bekbulatova Ardak Samatovna, first-year master’s student in the educational program 7M01707 – Russian Language and Literature in Schools with a Non-Russian Language of Instruction, methodologist at the Educational Methodology Department specializing in “Education,” and teacher of Russian language and literature at the Zh. Dosmukhamedov Higher Pedagogical College, presented a paper on “Visualization of Literary Images and Neuroreconstruction of Characters.”

Akkereeva Zhansaya Serikkalievna, a second-year master’s student in the educational program 7M01702—Foreign Language: Two Foreign Languages, an English teacher at Secondary School No. 25, and an expert teacher, presented a paper on “Types of Artificial Intelligence and the Role of Vibe Coding Technology in the Development of Intercultural Communication.”

Musagalieva Zhanna Arsenovna, Master of Pedagogy, senior lecturer at the Department of Foreign Languages ​​and Translation studies, presented a paper on “The Role of ChatGPT in Teaching Russian and Writing Scientific Papers.”

The scientific and practical discussion platform “Language Teaching in the Digital Age: Advanced Technologies, Multimedia, and Artificial Intelligence,” which brought together graduate students and faculty, provided the conditions for meaningful academic dialogue at the Department of Foreign Languages ​​and Translation Studies.
