Starting from February 25, the “Digital Literacy” course is being held within the “Silver University” project, organized by the Department of Energy, Automation, and Computer Engineering.
This course is designed to enhance the digital skills of participants, enabling them to confidently use modern technologies in their everyday lives.
The course covers key aspects of digital literacy, including the basics of working with computers, operating systems, and file systems. Participants will study the internet and online services, learn to effectively search for information, and use browsers and email. Special attention is given to issues of cybersecurity, protecting personal data and passwords, as well as methods to guard against fraud.
The program also includes studying cloud technologies and tools for storing and managing files, mastering online communications, including video calls and digital communication rules. Participants will get acquainted with the basics of financial literacy in the digital world, including online banking and secure payments, and will explore modern educational and entertainment internet resources, such as online courses and digital platforms. The course is intended for the participants of the “Silver University” as well as for anyone who wants to improve their digital literacy and master modern technologies.
