On the first day of Spring, on Gratitude Day, March 1, 2025, the Department of General Educational Disciplines held a city blitz chess tournament “Nauryz Chess-2025”, dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the ITI WKITU. The event was attended by parents, coaches of young talents.

40 chess players took part in the tournament: schoolchildren of secondary schools, NIS, champions of city and regional competitions, chess veterans of Uralsk.

The purpose of this event is career guidance work, acquaintance with the Industrial Technology Institute. During breaks between rounds, a career guidance video of the ITI was shown.

The winners of the blitz tournament were awarded with diplomas, medals and cash prizes:

1st place – Danilov Dmitry, college student

2nd place – Mubarak Utegen the Best senior

3rd place – Molbai Torekhan, 10th grade, secondary school 17

4th place – senior. Kazekenov Marat, executive director of the West Kazakhstan region chess federation

5th place – Temirgaliyev Sanzhar, 11th grade, NIS
