On October 23, 2024, an open lecture “New approaches to the study of historical science” was held at the West Kazakhstan Innovative and Technological University, organized by the Department of History and Law. The lecture was given by the leading researcher of the Institute of Oriental Studies named after R.B. Suleimenov, Candidate of historical sciences Yernar Muratuly Uzhkenov.

In his lecture, Yernar Muratuly emphasized that new methodological approaches play a key role in the study of the history of Kazakh society, and an effective way of teaching national history is to rely on new areas of study that take into account the various stages and conditions of the historical process.

The open lecture was attended by the faculty of the university, magistrands and students. The lecture aroused great interest among the audience. During the lecture, comprehensive answers were received to many questions of interest to the audience.
