In the second semester of the 2025–2026 academic year, at the Institute of Education and Management of West Kazakhstan Innovative and Technological University, Elena A. Chaladze, Candidate of Pedagogy, associate professor, and Head of the Department of Speech Therapy, Special Pedagogy, and Special Psychology at Samara State University of Social Sciences and Education (Samara, Russian Federation), delivered a series of lectures for undergraduate and graduate students of the educational programs 6B01101 – Pedagogy and Psychology, 6B03101 – Psychology, 6B01201 – Preschool Education and Upbringing, 6B01702 – Foreign language: two foreign languages, and 7M01101 – Pedagogy and Psychology.
The lectures addressed the most актуal issues in special and inclusive education, including: the specifics of psychophysical development of children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and the organization of their comprehensive psychological and pedagogical support; the potential of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) in supporting children with special educational needs; modern perspectives on the nature of written language disorders in primary school students; and a neuropsychological workshop titled “How the Brain Helps or Hinders Learning?”, where students practiced training exercises and developed diagnostic skills.
The invitation was organized within the framework of the academic mobility program aimed at exchanging advanced practices between universities. The visit of Elena A. Chaladze became an important step in strengthening international cooperation between Samara State University of Social Sciences and Education and West Kazakhstan Innovative and Technological University.
