On February 18, 2026, a volleyball tournament for school graduates from districts of the West Kazakhstan region was held at the West Kazakhstan Innovative and Technological University’s sports complex, located in the Institute of Education and Management, as part of the university’s career guidance program.
The main purpose of this sport event was to attract young people to regular physical education and sports, increase interest in physical activity, and conduct career guidance for prospective students. During the tournament, the participants demonstrated a high level of preparation, teamwork, and athleticism.
Graduates from the following schools participated in the competition: Michurin Comprehensive School (Baiterek district), Podstepnoe Comprehensive School (Terekty district), Comprehensive School No. 22, Comprehensive School No. 47 named after Kadyr Myrza Ali, and Comprehensive School No. 24.
Following the tournament’s results, the team placings were as follows:
- 1st place – Michurin Secondary School
- 2nd place – Secondary School No. 47
- 3rd place – Podstepnoe Secondary School
In addition, the best players were awarded special awards during the competition:
- Best Player – Ali Salykov (Michurin Secondary School)
- Best Forward – Temir Zhanserik (Secondary School No. 47)
- Best Setter – Farabi Zhabaev (Podstepnoe Secondary School)
- Best Defender – Evgeny Kenzhetaev (Secondary School No. 24)
The tournament was highly organized, and the participants demonstrated a high level of activity.
