Today, for students of the 6B04202 – “Jurisprudence” educational program, an information and awareness-raising meeting was held in accordance with the department’s educational work plan on the topic “Ways to Prevent Religious Extremism.” The purpose of the event was to prevent religious extremism in society, protect against the influence of destructive religious movements, and enhance religious literacy among the population.
During the meeting, the speaker, Nabigaliev Muratkhan Mukhituly, explained the essence and main characteristics of religious extremism and comprehensively outlined its negative impact on social stability. In addition, particular attention was given to counteracting the spread of destructive religious content on the Internet, preventing the involvement of young people in radical ideologies, and emphasizing the importance of traditional spiritual values.
The specialist highlighted the importance of maintaining a critical approach to questionable religious information sources, relying on official and credible resources, and complying with legal requirements. During the event, participants had the opportunity to ask questions and received professional and detailed answers on current issues in the field of religion.
