On 26.03.2026, within the framework of the School of Pedagogical Excellence of the Institute of Industrial Technologies of the ZKITU, Senior lecturer of the Department of Veterinary Medicine and Technosphere Safety G.A. Santalina held a round table on the topic “Using innovative teaching methods”.

The main purpose of introducing innovative approaches into the educational process is to increase students’ motivation and engagement, develop their information retrieval, analysis and processing skills, as well as form creative and critical thinking, communicative competencies and teamwork skills during practical classes.

During the event, the teacher demonstrated the possibilities of using artificial intelligence to create non-traditional forms of learning, including mini-videos and game elements (crosswords, puzzles, video quizzes, etc.). The participants of the round table were also invited to participate in the author’s game “Frog Jumps”.

During the discussion with colleagues, issues related to personal experience of using innovative teaching methods were considered, and the importance of improving the educational process in order to increase its accessibility, effectiveness and interest for students was emphasized. Such events contribute to the professional growth of teachers and the exchange of pedagogical experience.
