February 26, in accordance with the “Law and Order” principle outlined in the Address of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Қасым-Жомарт Тоқаев, a special event was organized aimed at preventing drug trafficking crimes among young people and combating violence.

Based on the directive of the internal affairs bodies of Батыс Қазақстан облысы, the films “Ne Knizhnye Zakladki” and “Khuliganka” were screened for students. The primary objective of the screening was to clearly explain, through real-life examples, the consequences of drug-related crimes and other unlawful acts, to foster awareness of legal responsibility, and to enhance students’ legal culture.

The films comprehensively illustrate the legal and social consequences of the illegal transportation and distribution of narcotic substances, as well as acts of violence, and their negative impact on an individual’s life and future. Following the screening, an explanatory session was conducted with the students, during which academic advisors provided detailed information on legal requirements and measures of liability.

This event became an important step toward preventing offenses among young people, fostering respect for the law, and strengthening public order and safety. Students and advisors from all groups of the “Jurisprudence” educational program took part in the event.
