At the initiative of A.S. Abatova, a lecturer of the Department of Architecture and Construction, students of the ARCH-22 O group visited the multifunctional sports complex “Zhaiyk Arena” on November 24, 2025.
The purpose of the visit was to introduce future architects to a modern example of a sports facility that demonstrates current requirements for functional zoning, engineering solutions, and architectural organization of space.
During the excursion, students were able to observe the actual scale of a building of this type, assess the features of its planning structure, and study the range of premises required for the full operation of a large sports facility. Special attention was given to visitor and athlete flow logistics, circulation routes, and the organization of technical areas.
A staff member of the complex, Raigul Muratovna, conducted an engaging and informative tour, introducing the students to the fitness and multipurpose halls, changing rooms, technical premises, administrative blocks, and other functional areas of the building.
The excursion provided valuable practical experience, helping students reinforce theoretical knowledge, broaden their professional outlook, and inspiring them to further explore the architecture of large public facilities.
