On November 21, 2025, within the framework of the Memorandum of Cooperation between the ZKITU and the Police Department of the West Kazakhstan region, a guest lecture by Criminal Police officers on the topic “Disclosure of serious crimes by criminal police officers” was held at the Department of Law for students of the educational program 6B04202 Jurisprudence.

Employees of the criminal police, head of the operational investigation Department, Police Lieutenant Colonel Rinat Rafikovich Dairbekov and senior police officer for particularly important cases of the same department, police Lieutenant Colonel Kairat Estagaparovich Khalilov, for 3rd and 4th year students studying the disciplines “Law Enforcement agencies” and “Operational investigative activities” this semester, they spoke in an accessible way about the role of the operational service in combating criminal crimes and, in particular, in the disclosure of non-obvious, serious crimes against the person such as murder, causing bodily harm , encroaching on the sexual integrity of citizens, as well as robberies, robberies and fraud, etc. Using their examples from practice in our field, the operational staff told the audience how their competent use of methods of operational investigative activities, tactical work and interaction with other services made it possible to uncover and bring to justice a number of criminals for committing double murders of citizens, robberies, cattle rustling, etc.

The lecturers showed the students a number of videos about their work as criminal police officers in the West Kazakhstan region, where criminals were exposed and caught red-handed for committing crimes such as cattle rustling, poaching, drug trafficking and firearms possession thanks to targeted operational development.

At the end of the lesson, the police officers answered all the students’ questions, wished them success in their studies, and invited them to practice and join the criminal police upon graduation.

The moderator of the event, Associate Professor of the Department of Law, Candidate of Law T. Rakhmetov, on behalf of the entire faculty of the department and the students, thanked the guests for the informative lecture for the students and wished them success in their service. Police officers were also familiarized with the material and technical base of the Department of Law.
