On 02/14/2025, a round table was held among undergraduates and students of the Department of Veterinary Medicine and Technosphere Safety at the Institute of Industrial Technologies of the ZKITU on the topic: “The value of some modern methods in the diagnosis of brucellosis.” The event was attended by undergraduates of OP 7M09101/7M09102 Veterinary Medicine and students of OP 6B09103 Veterinary Medicine.

The participants of the round table discussed the epizootic situation of brucellosis of farm animals in farms in Western Kazakhstan in recent years. The main diagnostic methods of brucellosis, widely used in industrial conditions, were demonstrated to students and undergraduates.

Students and undergraduates made presentations and shared their thoughts on the importance of conducting antiepizootic measures by veterinary service specialists at livestock facilities in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Undergraduates and students became convinced that in order to further improve the situation with brucellosis in animals in the region, it is necessary to conduct regular epizootological monitoring and conduct explanatory work among the population.

The best method of disinfection of products is exposure to high temperature. Bottled milk purchased in the store, as well as purchased on the market, should be boiled, and the meat should be thoroughly boiled or fried. The cheese is supposed to be aged for two months, and the cheese for three months, during which time the brucella dies.

Following these recommendations will prevent infection with brucellosis.
