A round table “Arkaly kyuishi” was held in the West Kazakhstan Regional Museum of History and Local Lore, dedicated to the 120-th anniversary of the birth of Okap Kabigozhin, one of the founders of the Kurmangazy National Orchestra of Folk Instruments, a talented artist and Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The event was organized by the “Dombra – Ultyk Rukh” department of the museum.

The main guest of this event was an honorary citizen of Uralsk, dombra player-kyuishi, dombra master Edige Nabiyev, who told about the history of Kazakh kyuis. Students of the educational program “History” of the West Kazakhstan Innovative and Technological University, who participated in this event, listened with interest to the story of the guest of the round table, asked questions, shared opinions.
