On September 20, in the assembly hall of the University at 44 M.Ihsanov St. in order to implement the Message of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan K.K. Tokayev “Fair Kazakhstan: law and order, economic growth, public optimism” dated September 2, 2024. in terms of preventing offenses among young people, improving their legal awareness and integrity, a meeting of 1st year students of the Institute of Industry Technologies with teaching staff, advisors, and employees of the compliance service of the Institute took place. As part of the signed memorandum of cooperation with the West Kazakhstan Region Police Department, police officers actively participated in this event.

A report on the measures taken at the educational institution to prevent offenses, improve the legal culture of students, their compliance with the rules of academic integrity and the code of honor of students of ZKITU and the tasks facing was made by the moderator of the event, Associate Professor of the Department of Law, Ph.D., police colonel in reserve, head of the compliance service Rakhmetov T.H.

Reports were made by the head of the Department of the Criminal Police Department of the DP for the West Kazakhstan region, police Major Ihsangaliev A.S. on the topic: “Prevention of cybercrime”, senior inspector of the Department of the local Police Service of the DP, police Major Kazhkeev T.K. on the topic “Prevention of offenses, bullying among minors and youth”, senior operative of the Department for Combating Drugs of the DP, police Captain Nazarov E.T. on the topic “Prevention of drug offenses among youth”.

Police officers demonstrated video films, distributed information materials of a preventive nature on these topics to students and gave answers to all questions. The event was informative and interesting. Moderator T. Rakhmetov, on behalf of the entire collective, thanked the police officers for their participation in the work and expressed confidence in further cooperation. This meeting was organized on the initiative of the management of the Institute and the compliance service.
