The modern “student-centered” approach to the management of the educational process involves the formation of partnerships with the student, since the student’s self-actualization as a future professional increase dramatically not only in the learning process, but also in the process of monitoring its results. Such relations should be characterized by clarity and transparency of requirements, both to the level of academic achievements and to control procedures, as well as the presence of “feedback” with the student, the availability of results and their analysis for all interested parties.
One of the actualizations of student-centered learning processes at WKITU is an appeal, and one of the important principles of academic integrity during evaluation is the possibility of students filing appeals.
Students who disagree with the results of the final control have the right to submit an appeal application to the Student Service Center addressed to the Chairman of the Appeal Commission. The appeal is filed no later than 18.00 on the next working day after the day of the announcement / introduction of assessments in AIS “Platonus”.
The results of the appeal are brought to the attention of the applicant within one working day.
Appeals are filed in case of disagreement with the assessment received during the current, milestone or final control, or if, in the opinion of the student, the established procedure for conducting intermediate / final control of knowledge is violated.
