On the 14th, 15th of September 2023, senior teachers of the Department of General Education Disciplines, editors Mukhtar A.R., Sultangalieva A.A., Mametanova S.T. organized a visit to the scientific universal library named after Zhuban Moldagaliev as part of the “Freshman Week” by students of the first year of the educational programs 6V07301 “Architecture,” 6V07201 “Oil and Gas,” 6V07303 “Land management and cadastre,” 6V07302 “Construction.” On the first floor of the library, students got acquainted with the exhibition of books of various genres then went to the subscription hall, the reading room. During the tour, they got acquainted with the life and work of Zh.Moldagaliev in the conference hall, where his personal belongings, documentary materials, notes, memoirs, photographs of meetings with famous writers, poets are stored, the prototype of the poet’s personal library were recreated.

Further, the students were told the autobiography of L.I. Gubanova, the first director of the regional library named after N. Krupskaya (now Zh. Moldagaliev). A pleasant moment was caused by the fact that students had the opportunity to receive books as a gift from the fund of the largest library in the West Kazakhstan region.
