On September 6, 2023, the Akimat of Uralsk held a regional scientific and practical conference on the topic: “History of the city: from Yaik to Uralsk.” The opening speech was given to the akim of Uralsk, Mirzhan Satkanov, who noted the significance of this event both for representatives of the scientific world, the public, and for every resident of Uralsk.

The topics of scientific reports of the conference were devoted to current problems of the development of Uralsk, its archaeological, socio-economic and cultural-spiritual aspects.

From the West Kazakhstan Innovative and Technological University, the report “EDUCATIONAL, HEALTHCARE AND CULTURE SYSTEM OF URALSK” was presented by Candidate of History, associate professor Abdrakhmanova Raisa Lesovna.

University instructors, researchers, students and undergraduates, representatives of cultural and educational institutions, the public, the media, school teachers received valuable information on the history of Uralsk, and also during the discussion exchanged views on current issues of both the history of Uralsk and its development prospects.
