On October 26, 2021, a scientific conference of students on the topic was held at the Department of Ecology and Biotechnology of the Faculty of Engineering and Humanities of ZKITU: “Fire safety and its impact on the environment”. The conference was attended by teachers of the Department of Ecology and Biotechnology and students of 1-4 courses of the scientific circle “Scrabble”. The students’ reports presented the issues of fire danger, evacuation of people in case of fire and consequences for the environment, etc.

As part of the conference, students of the specialty “Life Safety and environmental protection” visited the museum of the fire and technical center of the Ural garrison. Representatives of the museum told about the exhibits that are the historical heritage of the fire extinguishing and emergency rescue service of the region, familiarized with fire equipment. The students listened with great interest and asked their questions.
