On October 29, the lecturers of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology Ermekova A.D., Amangeldieva B.N., Satybaldieva A., Kadyrzhanova Zh.E., together with the “Young Psychologist” circle, organized a competition-lesson “The World of Methodology” in the form of a “case-study” for 3-4 year students of educational programs “Pedagogy and Psychology”, “Psychology”, “Preschool education and upbringing”. The competition was divided into three stages and it was proposed to develop a research project. During the competition, students were estimated according to their choice of an actual scientific topic, the scientific structure of the topic, knowledge of methods, skills in organizing practical work, knowledge of the criteria of scientific novelty. According to the results of the competition, the jury awarded the “Karama-Kayshylyk” group in the “Best Young Intellectuals” nomination, “Nysan” group in the “Best Scientific Discovery” nomination, “Bolzham” group in the “Smart Young Scientists” nomination. The purpose of the competition lesson is to consolidate the scientific knowledge of students, stimulate interest in research and develop their skills was achieved in the process.
