At the West Kazakhstan Innovative and Technological University, within the framework of the “Law and Order” initiative and the “Sports Against Drug Addiction” campaign, the opening ceremony of the basketball tournament among institute students, as well as the qualifying round for the National Student League, took place.
The main purpose of the event was to promote a healthy lifestyle, strengthen friendly relations among students, enhance athletic skills, and select talented athletes for the Student League.
Teams from the Institute of Education and Management and the Institute of Industrial Technologies participated in the tournament. All teams demonstrated a high level of preparation, teamwork, and determination.

- 1st place – FKS-411 team (Physical Culture and Sports)
- 2nd place – VTiIS-110 team (Computer Engineering and Information Systems)
- 3rd place – FKS-211 team (Physical Culture and Sports)

- Best Player – Shyngysbek Sultan (VTiIS-110 team)
- Best Forward – Serzhan Alpamysov (FKS-411 team)
- Best Defender – Daryn Utepkaliev (FKS-211 team)
All participants were awarded certificates in both team and individual categories.
The tournament contributed to increasing students’ interest in sports, strengthening unity, and demonstrating agility and perseverance. The university’s students showcased their athletic abilities at a high level and represented their institution with dignity.
