On the 1st of December, 2023, the department of the West Kazakhstan Regional Museum of History and Local Lore organized and held an event at the Museum of Nature and Ecology dedicated to AIDS Day. The purpose of the event: to explain to students that drugs and AIDS are the main problems of humanity today, their harmful sides, to comprehensively learn about the dangers of diseases that become the disease of the century, to encourage them to avoid harmful substances as much as possible in order to develop their consciousness. The event was opened by the director of the Museum of History and Local Lore of the West Region, Yersaev Mirbolat Bidzhanovich, noting that a healthy young generation is the basis of the country’s future, and health is the greatest wealth of every person.
Gulnara Kimovna Umbetova, the teacher of department of scheduled maintenance of the regional center for prevention of HIV infection, T.R. Isagulova, A.A. Sultangaliyeva, S.T. Mametanov participated in an action. – the senior teachers of department of general education disciplines of the West Kazakhstan Innovative Technological University and also students of the academic groups ARH-12, ND-11, VET-11, ARH-13 of the WKITU groups made reports on this action.
At the end of the event, the director of the Museum of History and Local Lore of the Western Region Yersaev M.B. awarded teachers, students who actively participated in the event with letters of thanks and expressed his gratitude
