From November 29 to December 6, 2021, the West Kazakhstan Innovation and Technology University held a competition of wall newspapers “We are against corruption!” on anti-corruption topics, organized by the student club “Sanaly Urpak”.
The competition was held in order to form an anti-corruption consciousness among young people, focused on rejection of corruption as a social phenomenon of the state and society, as well as education of citizenship and responsibility based on the affirmation of universal values, increasing the prestige of WKITU, developing and realizing the creative abilities of young people, identifying talents and promoting the best works to a wide audience.
Students from all faculties of the university took part in the competition. Initially, the participants of the contest gave an explanation of the terms “corruption”, “anti-corruption”, “corrupt behavior”, “manifestation of corruption”, “anti-corruption”.The work of students in small groups was organized. The students displayed their views and judgments in posters . A total of 28 works were presented.
According to the results of the creative examination, the best wall newspapers were named. The Independent сommission evaluated the correspondence of the theme on the posters, the originality of the design, the choice of color scheme, informative content, and the quality of execution.
Students of the 1st-3rd courses “Economics”, “Management”, “Law Enforcement”, “Physical Culture and Sports”, “State and Local Government” managed to tell in a vivid, imaginative, original form about combating corruption in the student environment.
The results of the competition were awarded diplomas in the nominations.
