The XIII Summer Universiade is being held in Turkestan from May 8 to June 16, 2025. More than 4,000 students from 76 universities will take part in this large-scale sporting event, competing in 17 sports.

West Kazakhstan Innovative and Technological University will be represented by 20 student-athletes and 5 coaches in 7 sports (togyzkumalak, judo, freestyle wrestling, Greco-Roman wrestling, Kazakh kuresi, karate-do, athletics).

Our athletes started the first day of the competition with the togyzkumalak game. In total, they played 7 games, winning 2 victories among men and 2 among women.
